In a paranoid world devastated by a fifty-year war between the Eastern Federation and Europa, a desperate geneticist reanimates his deceased son. But as his body returns, it becomes a genetically enhanced being. At the same time, brutal mutations declare war on humanity. Now, humankind is teetering on the brink of extinction. However, from the cold depths of space, a glimmer of hope emerges. Is the legendary Casshern our last resort?
