As John Booth (David Morse) the drunken driver who was responsible is released from prison Freddy takes up a gun and warns him that he has 3 days to live. Neither Freddy's estranged wife (Anjellica Huston) or Booth's new girlfriend (Robin Wright) can help. Is John going to survive or will Freddy succeed in claiming vengeance?
