Details of a family's history. Three fragments, from three historical ages. There doesn't appear to be a connection between them, while it is the deepest of all: eastern and central European Jewry, an almost forgotten part of Europe's history. Three generations. Éva the progenitress, her daughter, Léna, and Léna's son, Jónás. Three locations: Auschwitz, Budapest, Berlin.
